Last Friday in Western PA, on a deserted country road, one of those red neck drivers slowed his pickup truck enough to pull along side and say "get the ***k of the road *******". I gave him the usual single digit salute and referenced that he should have intercourse with himself. A quarter mile up the road he pulled over to wait for me. I don't pack heat, like some of the 50+'ers claim but am considering for future rides in the area in spite of the added weight. As I pulled up to the POS pickup I, slowed, pulled up directly behind and took a picture of the license plate with my cell phone. The guy saw what I was doing and bolted in a cloud of dust and gravel. Yea, I'm bad ass and not stupid as my wife says.
That was a good idea and glad it worked out. A little scary to be honest.

I used to do the same sort of stuff when people did that to me but learned it wasn't worth it when I had a gun pulled on me.( I was in a car when this happened not a bike) I was scared s---less and didn't even call the cops afterwords. I just wanted to get home and get my legs working again, they were having the heebie geebies big time.
Now I just either wave or ignore or thumbs down and move on.
