That's funny, I'm exactly the same as you (6'2"/ 34") and I always figured my legs were relatively short. Haven't had any problems with my Felt z90 (58cm) or my Long Haul Trucker (60cm). I'm no speed demon though. Coincidentally I just hit my personal max today (on the Felt) of 44 mph. I have no desire to better that number, but it felt totally fine.
