Vegas would be a nice place to cycle especially this time of year. It's relatively flat so you can cover a lot of ground.

What's the name of that mtn just north of Vegas? Anyway you could take it up it there for some climbs after you been riding a while.

You could also ride up by Sunrise mtn too.
