We had a similar event out here a few years ago. First "earthquake" for me, too. My wife, of course, grew up in the Bay Area and thought nothing of it. It rattled the windows at my office and it felt like a big truck had smacked the side of the building. Now every time we visit her folks, I hope for a little baby earthquake that I can feel, but nothing yet. I suppose I should watch what I wish for...
