X2 on no prosthesis. Whoa. There are a good number of amputee athletes out there. E.g., a Vietnam vet w/one prosthetic leg rocked the Oklahoma Freewheel ride last week, but I've never known a cyclist to ride flat-out one-legged for more than (IMO hateful!) drills. Huge huge props.

Also impressive are the handcyclists, especially when they climb. Can you imagine doing a climb on 100% upper body strength? Para-athletes are a huge inspiration to me. Another: Sarah Reinertsen.
