I'd love to use the lamp braze-on but I believe it's a 26TPI thread and I'm not sure where I'd source a bolt to match. I could probably have it retapped but have been reluctant to mess with it yet. I've only ever seen one Lenton (online) with that braze-on in use as designed; I can never find the lamp bracket for it (it's different from the one that mounts on the headset.)

And agreed, the component mix is all over the map - wheels, drivetrain, etc. There was a lot of thought about whether or not to use the Benelux rod shifter but given the single downtube braze-on it made sense at the time. I'm switching it over to a more touring-oriented setup, hence the interest in the V-GT Luxe; I'll probably couple that with a wider-range freewheel and a 52-42 up front (right now it's a 52-46 from a Sugino triple.)
