I did 4 hours on a 2.6 mile circuit today. Being able to withstand that amount of mind numbing tediousness I'm sure is the result of reading this thread regularly.

You reading my mind? I expected my second ride to be a complete suck fest just like the first but, I took my time and warmed up. Big difference. Although I can still feel it, its 10,000 times better than it was. Stupid guad muscles, stupid spasm/cramps. So, put me down for another 30 miles for the day, that gives me 55. I originally wanted to do 60 but I'll take it. Oh, by the way as soon as I got kitted up and outside with my bike the rain stopped! Thats what I call a turnaround!
