Good news, Only pre 80's Peugeots are French threaded, the one you have uses English/ISO bottom brackets.

Buy a crankset first before you're hunting for a bottom bracket, different cranksets use different spindle lengths and different types of interface. 68mm is the width for most road bikes, and length varies from crankset to crankset.
