BTW in 3 weeks (I think) I will be picking up my first custom bike - a Landshark. The builder (John Slawta) is painting it this week (customer paint design - very cool). I have my own wheels (Chris King hubs/Mavic rims) and some of the components (10 speed Ultegra) but will be adding a new crank (Dura Ace) and rear derailleur and cassette (Sram - mountain bike gearing because I weill use the bike touring) - the entire bike will end up costing me around $4300. It will most likely last me a lifetime. I just hope I am still riding! This is my reward for riding over 35 years!
