thats what is making me think. i am surprised at how clean the chain has been since i started with this home brew and that picture is without cleaning, just wipe and lube. however, the chain runs very very quiet which makes me think it is lubed enough.
I'm bad at this cleaning thing. I use RocknRoll lube every couple of rides. Pour it on, wipe it off, and done. Drivetrain looks like crap, but so far, I'm getting at least 3000 miles per campy record chain, with no shifting or noise problems. Minimal time suck, it works, I'm happy.
