If that is all you eat, you body will use what protein it needs and you will crap out the rest. If you have a piece of cake with that steak, the insulin spike from the sugar in the cake will trigger your body to start storing excess energy and you will gain weight. Sorry, you simply don't know what you are talking about. Yes, you are wise to avoid high GI foods. But if you really think that if you eat 5000 calories of steak per day, you're just going to crap more and stay the same weight, it is no wonder you aren't losing the weight you want to.
