Bikes: Specialized sirrus

i hope to give a little motivation.

I have posted my story about weight loss before and though riding my bike certainly had a huge factor in my weight loss I was much more focused on losing weight than riding my bike. The bike was just a tool to get at what I really wanted.

When I first got my bike I measured out a route in my car that was about 5 miles. Down the road make a left up a hill until the end of the road and turn around. Problem was I could not get the bike up the hill. After a few times Of failing I would pedal as far as I could then walk the bike the rest of the way. Many times I would here some smart arse remark from kids or an occasional idiot driving by but i stuck with it and soon was climbing the whole hill.

Two years later and a #108 lighter I did a century by myself today. Nothing really planned just woke up had the time and it was nice and cool today so I did it. 7 not so fast hours later I pulled into my drive way turned around and decided to go down the road make a left go up the hill until the end of the road and turn around for old times sake.

Never give up.
