It could be your headset. For some reason my commuter bike needs its headset tightened on a very regular basis, and it's not something you can just "see" (at least, I can't, but I'm hardly a wrench). Thanks for the tip. I walked through Sheldon's page and everything seems to be ok. Maybe I'm just losing what little sanity I had left. In any case, I think I'll get it out this evening and see how it does.
