i remember i was on a MUP once and this squirrel was hanging out in the middle of the path. a friend and i started yelling at it in hopes that it would move so there was no chance of us running it over. it worked, getting the squirrel to move... but it darted out in front of this car on the road beside the MUP.

the car went over it (under the core, not the wheels), and i saw the little guy spin a couple of times. amazingly, just as the car passed, the squirrel darted out again. the way it moved it didn't look like anything was broken.
