Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

There's a "right" tool for doing that. It looks kind of like a mushroom with a longhandle for each side. you clamp the fat part of the mushroom onto the dropout and use the handle to bend the dropout until they are straight and parallel.

The "workaround" is a big creacent wrench. Clamp the jaws onto the dropout and manhandle it until they look right.
