My usual route has no traffic lights that apply to bikes in 15 miles. I don't count the couple lights where the MUP/trail passes a light that applies only to cars. There are several stop signs along the MUP where it crosses roads, but I rarely need to come to a complete stop. I just slow down if a car is approaching, and 9 times out of 10, they stop and let me go ahead. If not, I slow until they pass. I usually ride non-stop the entire way.
