Well, the deed is done--I bought the bike. I ended up with a Jamis Aurora Elite. I decided not to order the Koga. It was just too expensive--the import expenses were killer. Add to that not getting to see the bike beforehand, and not being sure what would happen if it was the wrong size or needed service. But the Jamis was a pretty nice ride, has most of the features I wanted, and the LBS was offering me a price that was hard to resist. Also, of the bikes I got to try, it felt like the best fit. The height was about the same as the LHT, but the top tube is a little shorter, and I have slightly short arms for my height, so that actually was good for me. Not sure if I want to keep the drop bars or go to a moustache bar, but I can ride it a bit to get a feel for it before I decide.
