Tell us how you true your own wheels, please.

I know a couple clydes have mentioned they do this. What tools do you need to get the job done, and how difficult is it? I assume you need a truing stand, spoke wrenches, and maybe a tension meter; anything else? What models do you use or recommend? Any tricks/techniques?

I've been disappointed with the quality of repairs and maintenance from the local LBS's, and of course, needing to leave the bike for 3 days for a 15 minute repair! I've found to my surprise that I can do many repairs and replacements myself to the same standards or better--simple things so far, like replacing cassettes, cables and such. But I want to expand my abilities, to save money and time and get it done right the first time (hopefully).
