Kona changed the design on sutra 2010.new dropouts and rack mount now look pretty beefy/thick(measured 7mm thick with paint) and use bigger bolts, so i can't imagine this new design to break so easily

Good point. Also, moving the disc mount to the chainstay gets rid of the rack mount issues so you no longer need spacers or disc specific rack that could add leverage to the eyelet.
