See figure A. That is the slanted parallelogram. This is from the 1964 Sunour Gran Prix Patent.

Where A is slanted to match the slant of the freewheel #30.

Talks about the crane not being as good as a V.

This is a parts diagram, not a patent application, but you can see there is no slant to the parallelogram.
