when i received the 'dusty, dirty Grandis' i wrote about a couple weeks ago http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...+dirty+grandis i discovered among the various items a pair of vintage Look pedals.

i compared them to the cleats on my shoes for SPD pedals, and they looked right. i went ahead and slapped em on a pedal-less bike, jumped aboard and clipped in no problem. since then i've done a 40 miler with lots of hills and the pedals worked great.

has anyone else noticed this? and has anyone noticed Look pedals that won't work with SPD'S?

and the Grandis is torn down now, components getting polished and bearings re-built. it will be a stunner
