I'm seriously considering going carbon after years with steel.

I've narrowed my choice down to a Cannondale and in particular these three bikes;

The Cannondale SIX Carbon 105 Compact 2010 Road Bike won bike of the year in Cycling Plus magazine. The special edition is a tempting price but I'm suspicious of the Shimano wheels and given the price drop I'm wondering what else has been sacrificed as far as quality goes.

I had a look at the Cannondale Synapse Carbon 105 Triple 2010 this afternoon and looks wise I love it, I'm just undecided whether it's going to ride as comfortable or as fast as the SIX.

Any views to help me decide would be greatly appreciated.
