That article is incorrect. Campy 10 shifters pull 2.5mm five times, 3mm twice and 3.5mm twice. A SRAM RD needs a unfiform cable pull of 3mm per shift. After that first five shifts, the Campy shifter would be almost a full cog's-worth short on cable pull (12.5mm instead of 15mm).

Neither one has a 1.5/1 actuation ratio. Sram is 3.95/3 = 1.32 and Campy is about 1.44.
