For the love of God, try reading the thread before adding to it.

Just to keep it simple:

1. Anecdote does not equal data. What some jarhead said about a helmet "saving his life" is probably just blow.

2. A helmet that cracked is a helmet that failed to actually reduce the impact to the head.
