Dang, that looks nice! My next project is a early 70s Mondia in blue/white/black. Not only did the come with chrome lugs, 1/2 stays and forks, they usually sported an amazing fade job around the lugs etc. Mine is original paint, though I had to touch up some paint damage. My room mate in college had one in red, and I always wanted one, finally found this one in my size!

As far as French/Swiss threads, apparrently a Swiss bottom bracket is a French one with reverse threads on the fixed cup. My frame had the fixed cup, so I didn't mess with it, but its marked the same as the French Campagnolo BB I bought on ebay, so maybe its French?

Honestly, the French stuff is on ebay quite often, not that hard to turn up if you need it.

Oh, the rear brake bridge in the before pics is original to Mondias, though probably not the Weinmann adjuster; they typically came with Mafacs.
