They were hit from behind - one of my worst fears... Both are in really bad shape as you might imagine. One was airlifted due to collapsed lungs, spine trauma, serious wrist, leg, and ankle fractures. My other friend has 5 broken ribs, concussion, neck injury (severity TBA), & severe road rash. He's still in the hospital waiting for more MRI's.

This freaks me out!
