I have a Sugino compact triple with a Tiagra front derailleur. I am using STR shifters, the Shimano unit for small handed people. I can't get a decent shift into the big ring. I have tried adjusting the cable, checked the stops, even the alignment of the cage. Not working. What am I missing? Wrong derailler for my set up? It's an 8 speed set up. Dang.
