I recently road from Elizabeth City to Suffolk. It is 50 flat miles. Why not just ride all the way? Plenty of places to stay in both Suffolk and Elizabeth city.

I didn't follow the ACA in this section as Elizabeth City is not on the ACA route. I mapped a more direct route. Also, 158, the road from Elizabeth City back to the ACA route, is very dangerous (there is road construction and the lanes are squeezed together) for several miles. Be very careful there.

I stayed in a motel in Suffolk and found a couchsurfing host in Elizabeth City.
