I honestly think its more of a value killer if you live in Japan. If I have a basically beautiful frame with one dent in it and some chips but its from Japan, I'm sure if I put some nice components and a wheelset it would be worth quite a lot still or am I wrong idk haha
How many bikes have you sold lately? How many with damaged/dented frames? Save the good components for a good, clean frame. Just one guy's opinion.
I get quite a few of my parts from bikes with damaged frames, as the value of these bikes often drops to below what the components alone are worth.
