You would have to drill it out to the same diameter as the hole it went into. The other option is to take the next larger tap size and retap the existing rivnut. Then take a metal epoxy and fill in the hole. real drill with the approriate tap drill that matches th original hole. Retap and all is good. If you are really concerned throw some blue Locktite on the fastener and sleep like a baby.
