I'd see the site, but thanks for re-directing me to it. The site does not say "you have to push really hard" in so many words, but it DOES say "Install left arm and secure. SRAM© recommend toque is 425-478 inch pounds (Figure 4)." By my math, 478 inch pounds would be 40 pounds on a 12 inch lever arm or 80 lbs on a 6 inch lever arm. It makes sense that I am pushing really hard when considering my hex wrench is only about 4 to 6 inches long.
