Bikes: Many

I am new at this and have been noticing a lot of "almost" desirable road bikes. I have picked up a couple hoping that they were simply lesser-known but respectable brands. These manufacturers use recognizable names where you will first look and the rest of the stuff is low to bottom grade. My sucker-punch was an Atala, actually two in one week. If you are hoping for a hidden gem, move on. If you are looking for a fun rider at a great price, go for it if the condition is good and everything is straight. If it has recognizable tube labels that would be a plus.

My first Atala went to a nice young girl who wanted something old to ride ( I didn't miss the joke, I avoided it) and the second contributed parts to other projects at just the right moment. So, today I would pass, two months ago I would have bought it.

The headset is a Magistroni.
