I try to maintain a steady effort and anticipate the pace, but I keep having to tap my brakes when I'm up close. Yesterday I was focusing on not having to brake, yet I still couldn't avoid it.
i have the same problem but i know why it happens to me and i don't think it is the same solution for you. i roll faster downhill, noticeably faster and even over a very short stretch. as soon as the road starts pointing down even a bit, i'm pulling out of the draft to try to slow down and often i also have to brake.
