Overall, I like them pretty well. Not quite as good of fit as the Rocket 7's, but then again they're not really custom.

The custom molding doesn't mold the footbed to your arch, but it does do a good job of holding your heel (addressing the OP's problem)

I have big, wide feet. The Lakes while a bit wider than a typical shoe don't have enough volume for my foot with the insole in them. Fortunately they're designed to use with or without the removable insole and they work well with the removable insole out.

They're holding up well, and are much more durable than the Rocket 7's. The little rubber piece on th side saved the leather on mine from getting seriously torn up in a crash.

On the whole they're pretty comfortable, pretty light, and more durable so I'm happy with them.
