Miyata Liberty
Hi--
I need help learning more about a Miyata Liberty. The serial number on the bike is G597437. I have read the Miyata Hierarchy thread on this site, I have searched the web, and I have looked through all of the catalogs (1981-1994) on miyatacatalogs.com. There is very little out there about this model. I am thinking it is a 78 or 79…and I am basing this of the thread I found here about someone’s 1978 Miyata Liberty. I’d like to know what year it is and whether it is a good frame. If I get it, I want to convert to a fixed gear, so I an not overly concerned about all of the components. Any thoughts or guidance is appreciated. Oh, it is for sale for ~$80.
