I'm an idiot. Ever since getting my pt I kind of assumed that using 5s average for power display meant that it would display the same power for 5s then change to the new reading. Yet I couldn't figure out why it still refreshed every second (or thereabouts). Today I my ride, I realized that the power displayed each second is the average of the last 5 readings. Is this correct? It seems obvious in hindsight.
