The pros / cons of clipless are pretty straight forward:

Pro:
- Easier to get into
- Easier to get out of
- More secure
- More efficient
- Lighter

Cons:
- Shoes look stupid
- Not usually comfortable walking


That's why I use straps and cages on all my bikes except for the fastbikes.
