I switched from a 100mm stock (heavy) stem to a 90mm Ritchey WCS. The Ritchey was noticeably less stiff.
Now that it's been on for a long time, I don't notice the flex. It's certainly not an issue unless you are hammering to the line at a full gas sprint (which I am not).
