I agree with this whole deal, pretty much. I think the lug lining and pin striping looks much better on a painted frame, for one thing. I do kind of prefer the Prugnat lugs, since they're less common. Schwinn didn't do anything really special with the Nervex Pros: lots of bikes from the 60's into the 70's had them, and be no means were they all top-level. I actually bid on the yellow one, but just couldn't go higher at the moment.
