I rode my mountain bike into town a few weeks ago just because I was bored & could use the exercise. Two guys in a riced out late-80's Honda Civic drove by twice to call me a queer. I proceeded to flip them off each time, & all they did was drive off. People like to think driving a vehicle makes them invincible because they can always just drive off after yelling something. It's very rare that anyone yells or does anything offensive to me if we're stopped near each other or in any situation in which they would have to own up to what they've said. So my conclusion is that people view vehicles the same way as the internet. You can do & say whatever you want & rarely have to own up for it.
