My feelings exactly. Locally, this story got some traction, especially when a local drive time radio jock used it as evidence of how insane aggressive cyclists are terrorizing DC roads and bike paths. Pretty unbelievable, since according to both my recollection and police statements, aggressive speeding cycling had nothing to do with it. Simply a case of the other cyclist picking the absolute worst moment, most likely just a momentary lapse, to pull out into the oncoming lane to pass some pedestrians.

It has not been a good week.
