If you live near a Performance store, just wait for them to go on sale. They're on sale almost all the time when you consider both in-store and catalog sales (not the same), but as has been often repeated, the store will honor the catalog price if you ask them. Buy 'em if you like the style and they're comfortable on your face - if you ride enough, you'll be spending a lot of time with them. I have the same problem with times of day and the clear and yellow are indispensible. I have pairs of Bolle and Performance w/multiple lenses. They both work great. But, if you have enough time to check out what brands of glasses others are wearing, you're not riding hard enough...
