Purchased the frame. For the frame (FM001), fork (FK001), headset, seat post (SP003), water cage, seat post clamp and extra rear hanger, I paid $451 ($70 shipping included).

As for components, I've made some progress.

I found a used shimano 105 group on craigslist for $225 (+ shipping). It has 1500 miles on it and appears to be the 5600s (9-speed back, double front). The group comes with just about everything: shifters, RD, FD (new SRAM Force), front + rear brake calipers, crank + bottom bracket, cassette, chain.

I also came across a lightly used (<1000 miles) set of Dura Ace 7700 shifters and FD for $190 w/ shipping. I am not 100% sure which shifters/FD I will end up using but I figured the DA parts were too good of a deal to pass up. I would love to hear some of your opinions as to which parts I should use. Worst case scenario, I end up flipping the DA shifters and FD on eBay.

So, for $676 I have carbon frame, fork, seat post, clamp, headset, cage, 105 shifters, FD, RD, crank, cassette, BB, cables, housing.

I still need a saddle, stem, handlebars and wheelset but so far, I'm happy with my bang for buck.
