I kind of agree. I just finished a 1000 mile solo and really didn't have too much trouble finding someplace to plug in. Between parks that leave electricity on, soda machines, ice machines, and other appliances that use the same power, I just ended up 'borrowing' power from different places. I did ask most of the time and was never turned down.

On the down side to plugging in someplace, you do have to wait or double up on duties...like laundry while the phone is charging.
