Giant TCR top tube sizings wierd?
I've been looking to get a Giant TCR Carbon for a while now but am a little confused with the sizing, I'm aware that it's a compact frame and the bike I have now is a compact but not to the extent of Giant's. My current setup has a 54cm effective top tube and a 100mm stem making is 55cm in length total which I'm pretty comfortable with. Giant has two sizes close to me, a Small and Medium, but the Small's effective TT is 53cm so I'd need like a 200mm stem to get the same sizing, a Medium however is a 55.5cm TT which would be a tad too big. I'm tempted to just get the Medium and throw on like a 90mm stem and stretch myself out a tad more and if I move the saddle position up a tad more it shouldn't be too bad however the same would go for the Small if I just moved the saddle back. Anyone have any suggestions? I like the compact frames because I tend to have a small inseam but a long reach which makes classic frames tedeous when it comes to sizing.
