Not only do they give you the info, they'll send you a laminated copy of the job card if they've still got it ... costs about $25. In my case, this led to the discovery of a cool story, too, which showed that my frame had been sold, painted, to Hetchins for Hetchins to apply its own transfers. That said, when I got mine I did some SN research and compiled a list of numbers associated with dates from others on this forum. Example: mine is 8648, which corresponds to August '72. The numbers are purely sequential, with no embedded codes. If you're willing to share your SN, I'll give you my best shot ...
