So,
initial buy - $80

new parts (tires, tubes, brake shoes, cables, housing, tiny, tiny bolts for cable housing mounts, paint) - ~$80

Labor (striping,sanding,painting,reassemble) - ~ 8 or so hours

Daughters expression when she got home from camp and saw what I did for her - "Dad, that is the Sickest Bike Ever" - which was a good thing - PRICELESS

So to cross-post that Centurion thread, component codes I found on another site that might or might not be correct.

Frame Serial # AJ799, no idea of date
Rear Derailer, Suntour GT: Stamped Code QH, 1974 Aug
5 speed free wheel: Stamped code RF, 1975 June
Front Derailer, Suntour Spirit: Stamped Code RC, 1975 March

In closing;
The bike rides damn smooth, and IMO looks pretty sharp for something from the mid-70's. My daughter is stoked and i'm dad of the year at least for this week.
Excellent. Now ride with her to get ice cream.
