Found this older Centurion Ladies "Cruiser" 10 -Speed on CL for $80, I talked her down to $50 but she was a grad student at UCSD-SIO getting ready to head home so I reneged on being an a$$, that, and she was cute.

initial buy - $80

new parts (tires, tubes, brake shoes, cables, housing, tiny, tiny bolts for cable housing mounts, paint) - ~$80

Labor (striping,sanding,painting,reassemble) - ~ 8 or so hours

Daughters expression when she got home from camp and saw what I did for her - "Dad, that is the Sickest Bike Ever" - which was a good thing - PRICELESS

In closing;
The bike rides damn smooth, and IMO looks pretty sharp for something from the mid-70's. My daughter is stoked and i'm dad of the year at least for this week.
