Lol, yeah, seriously. And I don't even mean excesses or anything, but I was always amazed by people -
Them: "Oh no, I don't have *any* money to spend on my bike, not even $30, I'm *totally* broke"
Me: ...didn't you just go to the bar last night, have an absolutely terrible time, and dropped $20 on drinks?
Them: "Yeah, but that's different"
Me: (thinking - yeah it's different - I dropped the money on something for my bike that I'll still have in 6 months, you won't even remember last night a week from now!"

I mean people are welcome to their priorities for sure...just don't pretend that they don't have a choice in the matter, or that they're somehow being more fiscally responsible than me with their choices, lol. They're being just as responsible/irresponsible as I am, ya know, we just like different things.
