Don't undersestimate the effect of riding in a large group of riders and how fast you will be going in that group...just don't lose them on HH or elsewhere because then you will be riding on your own and posting times like those that you have posted
that's what i'm banking on. until now, the only real way for me to compare my ability to others has been when people get competitive on morning rides, and i don't have a problem passing or keeping up with almost everybody. getting into racing will sort this out for me, i'm sure.
