I understand most mechanical things, but not gear adjustment. I built my bike from various spare parts.
I cannot get first gear, even if I push the derailleur with my finger. Tried adjustment with the screw, but it does not get 7th gear either. Its an old shimano, I would ask u about my front 3 gear selector that does not look straight, but maybe I would need to post a pic.
